Raffle News!! Quick Link to Buy Tickets
We need your help to fill the gap in the 2012-2013 school budget which is going to cause the reduction of the athletics program. Do you need a good reason to participate in this raffle? Well, we have three (3) good reasons.
1) The odds are better than gambling in AC – and the prizes are pretty cool too. For a $20 ticket, you have the chance to win one of three packages worth $900 to $1,500.
2) You can do your part to keep kids fit and active. With childhood obesity and diabetes becoming epidemics, youth sports are more important than ever. Plus, studies have shown that sports help to improve grades, boost self esteem and build leadership skills.
3) You can actually see your donation at work. Have you ever wondered where your money goes when you donate to big national charities? There’s no need to wonder when giving to your local community. In this case, when you see Red Bank kids kicking a soccer ball, wearing their basketball uniforms or practicing baseball, you can take great pride in knowing that your donation helped keep their sports teams going. Without help from the Foundation, these sports programs would not exist.
Who says that fundraising can’t be fun. (It’s actually part of the word!) This raffle proves that point. Just look at the prizes that you could win. Each ticket offers a chance to win one of three prizes:
1) A 46-inch, high-definition flat-screen Samsung TV, with a retail value of $1,500.
2) The Monster Sports Package, which includes two regular season tickets to see the N.Y. Giants (parking included); four tickets to see the Philadelphia Phillies/Washington Nationals game (parking also included); four tickets to a Lakewood Blue Claws game; a golf round for four at Deal Country Club and the Beacon Hill Country Club; footballs autographed by NY Jets great LaDainian “L.T.” Tomlinson and Green Bay Packers cornerback Tramon Williams; and tuition for a week-long summer sports camp at Brookdale Community College.
3) The “Best of Red Bank,” which includes a night’s stay at the Oyster Point Hotel; two tickets to see comedian Bobby Collins at the Count Basie Theatre on June 9, including a pass for the Members-Only Carlton Lounge; $100 gift certificates for Milagro Spa, Readies Fine Foods, Brothers Pizza, and Prown’s Home Improvements; $50 gift certificates to YesterCades and Teak Restaurant; $25 gift certificates to No Joe’s Café, Foodtown, Pizza Fusion and Cupcake Magician; and a gift basket with a $10 gift certificate from Funk & Standard.

Do we still have your attention? I thought so. Are you feelin’ lucky? (If not, just buy more tickets.) You can buy your tickets at the Red Bank Borough Board of Education office during normal business hours at 76 Branch Ave in Red Bank, of course, or you can call 732-778-2217 to purchase by phone. You can also buy tickets online by visiting our purchase site. Follow the instructions to purchase as many tickets as you like using either a credit card or your Paypal account. As you can see in the announcement flier, the drawing will take place on June 7, 2012. Winners will be notified by phone and arrangements will be made to get the prizes to the lucky people.

SantaCon 2011 Comes to Red Bank (reporting by RedBankGreen.com Dec.18,2011)
It was silly Saturday in Red Bank, as roving bands of Santas and Cousin Eddies did some major barhopping for charity, hitting just about every watering hole in town and shaking their pails for contributions.

In the process, they raised some serious cash. SantaCon shook out $1,100 for the Red Bank Middle School Athletics Foundation, and EddieCon raked in $2,000, plus a $2,000 corporate match, for the Monmouth Day Care Center.
As far as we know, nobody got arrested, and a good time was had by all, including Prince, the horse, who was also out doing his seasonal thing of taking visitors on rides in his carriage.
